I had such a great experience at Cat Cora’s Tap Room at the Detroit airport! The Angus burger was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the fries were absolutely spot-on: crispy, hot, and seasoned just right. What really made my visit exceptional was Erin. She was so attentive, sweet, and genuinely welcoming. Her service turned what I expected to be a quick airport meal into something memorable. I’m usually not a fan of airport restaurants, but this spot completely changed my mind. Great food, great quality, and even better service. Highly recommend!

Bangers and mash was pretty great. Very smooth potatoes, nice sharp mustard on the side, perfectly caramelized onions, and 3 nice light sausages with a seared crust. Great service - super friendly and fast. The only con was the price; $40 after tip (+1 root beer) is pretty steep for lunch but the plus is that it was delicious.

Definitely a must! The flight of whisky was great, and the food was absolutely fabulous. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Great location with very good service. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

So impressed with this place! It's hard to find good food in the airport, but this place was great! I got the spicy tomato soup with grilled cheese. Sounds basic, but my waitress recommended it and I was fasting so it was perfect. Loved it! So good!

Did lunch here at noon on a Friday and was seated right away. The server was great, friendly and checked in often. Food came out fairly quickly and was pretty decent. The fish and chips were a solid 4/5 with fris stealing she show. The local IPA was nice as well. Would highly recommend.

The Seared Salmon meal was very delicious. Victoria did a wonderful job making sure I was taken care of, even offering me a complimentary salad (which turned out to be also tasty) when the wait time was longer than anticipated. The atmosphere was great for a relaxing pre-flight meal.

Had a bit of a slow start here, but it turned out to be a good experience. I waited around the entrance for a while waiting to be seated. The hostess seated the couple that was ahead of me and then disappeared, but then a different staff waitress came and flipped the “Please wait to be seated” and sign and told everyone waiting we could seat ourselves. After seating myself it again felt like it took a while for someone to come take my order, and after ordering my beer looked like it had probably been poured a few minutes before it was brought to me, but my food came out in a reasonable time and I was able to pay reasonably quickly as well. My waitress was nice. From the time I got in line to get in to the time I left was probably around 45 minutes which is just fine for a table service restaurant. I thought my food and beer were really good. I had the gnocchi primavera ($24) and an Oberon Eclipse raspberry wheat ale by Bell’s Brewing ($11). The gnocchi were pleasantly chewy and the sauce was delicious - very flavourful and a little spicy. I read a few reviews with complaints about too much fennel seed in this dish. I liked the fennel and I would say it was absolutely not overkill, but don’t order this if you don’t want to taste fennel seed. The prices were predictably expensive. But the food was good and the portion size was satisfying. Definitely not a bad choice for a table service meal.

Sropped here before my flight at DTW. My wife wanted me to try the grilled cheese and spicy tomato soup (her favorite when she travels). It was VERY good. Both the grilled cheese and the soup. O could have done without the sprouts for garnish on top...but that's just me. Delicious! Ty!
